Directions to the DCRU
 
From Raleigh/RDU
  1. Take I-40 West towards Durham
  2. Merge onto Durham Freeway / NC-147 North (Exit 279B)
  3. Exit at Elba St./Trent Dr. (Exit 15A
  4. Stay in Left lane onto the Trent Dr. ramp
  5. From the stop sign, continue Straight onto Trent St.
  6. Park in Parking Garage I (PGI) ($1/hr) on the Left approximately 100 yards after crossing Erwin Road.
  7. Valet parking ($7/day) / Drop off is available at the “Duke Clinic” main entrance.

From Richmond (Virginia)
  1. Take I-95 South toward Petersburg
  2. Take I-85 South (Exit 51) toward Durham
  3. Exit at Hillandale Rd. (Exit 174A)
  4. Turn Left onto Hillandale Rd.
  5. Stay Straight onto Fulton St.
  6. Turn Left on Erwin Rd.
  7. Turn Right on Trent Dr.
  8. Park in Parking Garage I (PGI) ($1/hr) on the Left approximately 100 yards from Erwin Road intersection.
  9. Valet parking ($7/day) / Drop off is available at the “Duke Clinic” main entrance.

  1. Take I-85 North
  2. Take Exit 172 for NC-147 toward Durham/Downtown/Research Triangle Park
  3. Exit at Hillandale Rd./Fulton St.
  4. Stay Straight on Fulton St.
  5. Turn Left on Erwin Rd.
  6. Turn Right on Trent Dr.
  7. Park in Parking Garage I (PGI) ($1/hr) on the Left approximately 100 yards from Erwin Road intersection.

  1. Take US-15/501 N toward Durham
  2. Stay on US-15/501 Bypass N toward I-85 / Durham / Downtown / Duke Univ / Med Ctr.
  3. Take NC-751 (Exit 107) toward Duke Univ. West Campus
  4. Turn Right on NC-751 (Cameron Blvd.)
  5. Turn Left on Erwin Rd.
  6. Turn Right on Trent Dr.
  7. Park in Parking Garage I (PGI) ($1/hr) on the Left approximately 100 yards from Erwin Road intersection.

  1. Take I-85 North toward Durham

Directions From Parking Garage I (PGI) to DCRU

    Ground Level
    1. Cross Trent Dr. and enter the Main Clinic Entrance
    2. Follow the long corridor to the Left
    3. Take the Gray Elevators to the Second Floor
    4. Turn Left off the elevators
    5. Go through the automatic sliding doors
    6. Turn Right at the first hallway intersection
    7. Enter DCRU through double doors

    Above Ground Level
    1. Go to the Second Level of PGI
    2. Take the “Bridge to Duke Clinic”
    3. Enter the Clinic and remain on the Second Floor
    4. Follow the long corridor to the Right of the escalators
    5. Go through the automatic sliding doors
    6. Turn Right at the first hallway intersection
    7. Enter DCRU through double doors

University and City Buses
  1. The Duke Clinic is serviced by the Duke University Transit bus system, the Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA), and the Triangle Transit Authority (TTA).
  3. The Clinic can be accessed by University bus routes: H-1, H-3, H-5, H-6, C-2, and PR-1.  A complete map of the Duke University Transit system is available here.  For more information about University Bus Schedules and Routes, please visit the Duke Parking and Transportation Services website or call (919) 684-2218.

    From the H-1, H-6, C-2, and PR-1 stop:
      *Please note: This stop is known as Entry 11 and is located at the rear of the Busse Building at the turn-around at the end of Research Dr.
    1. Enter the Busse Building through the double doors
    2. Take the Blue Elevator on the Right up to the Second Floor
    3. Turn Right off the elevator
    4. Turn Left at the first hallway intersection
    5. Enter Clinic through double doors

    From the H-3 and H-5 stop:
    *Please note: This stop is at the front of the Duke Clinic near PGI.
    1. Enter through the Main Clinic Entrance
    2. Follow the long corridor to the Left
    3. Take the Gray Elevators to the Second Floor
    4. Turn Left off the elevators
    5. Go through the automatic sliding doors
    6. Turn Right at the first hallway intersection
    7. Enter Clinic through double doors

    1. The Clinic can be accessed via DATA Route 6. For information about DATA Bus Schedules and Routes, please visit the DATA website or call (919) 683-DATA.

    From the DATA Route 6 stop:
    *Please note: This stop is the same as the Duke H-3 and H-5 stop.
    1. Enter through the Main Clinic Entrance
    2. Follow the long corridor to the Left
    3. Take the Gray Elevators to the Second Floor
    4. Turn Left off the elevators
    5. Go through the automatic sliding doors
    6. Turn Right at the first hallway intersection
    7. Enter Clinic through double doors

    1. The Clinic can also be accessed via TTA route 402/412 and 403/413.  The 402/412 stops outside the VA Medical Center on Erwin Rd.  The 403/413 stops outside the Duke University Hospital on Erwin Rd.  For information about TTA bus Schedules and Routes, please visit the TTA website or call (919) 549-9999.
